Job Description: We are seeking an experienced SDET to architect, build, and maintain sophisticated automation frameworks leveraging Python and the Robot Framework. Your primary focus will be developing and executing comprehensive automated test scripts for cross-browser web applications, while implementing best practices such as Page Object Model (POM), data-driven, and hybrid framework architectures.
You will utilize JMeter to drive performance testing initiatives, conduct automation feasibility analyses to identify high-value automation candidates, and integrate test suites into robust CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Git). The role includes executing API automation alongside UI-driven validations, performing root cause analysis on failures, and reporting defects with clarity.

You will also manage the integration of automation execution into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, Maven, and TestNG/JUnit, while ensuring backend integrity through REST service testing and SQL validation.
As a key member of our Agile teams, you will participate in daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. You will be accountable for analyzing execution results, generating detailed quality reports, and continuously enhancing our test coverage, script reusability, and overall execution efficiency.

You will be responsible for end-to-end development using COBOL400, COBOL ILE, SQL400, and Query400. You must possess a strong working knowledge of DB2400, ILE concepts, Display Files, Sub-Files, Printer Files, and Embedded SQL. Essential capabilities include managing iSeries APIs, data queues, user queues, multithreading, journaling, and IBM iSeries file systems.

You will partner with business teams to prioritize feature development, prepare comprehensive design documentation, and ensure rigorous reporting and tracking of all assignments. You will also serve as a key point of contact for resolving critical production support issues.
Required Skills & Experience: Deep technical expertise in the iSeries stack (AS400, ILE COBOL, ILE CL, DB2, COBOL400, SQL400, Query400). Previous experience in production support environments is highly valued, and familiarity with MQ Series and Aldon is considered a significant advantage.
